As a valued customer, you have the option to sign up for text message alerts for outages. By signing up for these alerts you will receive a text message notification when a service outage is impacting internet service at your home, when the outage is resolved and updates in between if the outage lasts more than two hours.
Please note that text messages will not be sent between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. in an effort to not disturb our customers during the late evening and morning hours.
To sign up for text message alerts, follow the below steps.
Step 1: Log in to your online account here: Customer Portal.
Step 2: After signing in, click the down arrow next to your account name in the top right of the page and click “profile settings”.
Step 3: Next, scroll down to the section labeled “text message notifications” and click the “subscribe” button.
Step 4: Enter the cell phone number you want to receive notifications to and check the box of the types of notifications you wish to receive.
Step 5: Click “subscribe”. You will then be redirected to your profile settings page where it will now say you are subscribed.
If at any time you wish to opt-out of text message alerts, simply respond to the text message with the word "stop". You can also unsubscribe within your online account by clicking the "edit" icon and then selecting the "opt-out" option.
